Channel-forming bacteriocin. Forms cation-selective channels. Active on enterobacteria, with highest activity against E.coli. Not active on other Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria or fungi. The unmodified protein is active against E.coli and S.enteritidis.
